Elisabeth Yunarko, Spokle Founder

Elisabeth Yunarko

Co-founder

Elisabeth has spent her career solving business challenges for multinational corporations in medical devices, food manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries in Australia, Southeast Asia and Europe. She has over 15 years’ experience within the healthcare industry in various capacity including business development, digital transformation and project management.

In 2013, while working in Indonesia, she became aware of the many barriers that prevent many children with special needs from getting the right clinical support, including the limited availability of specialists, distance, cost of treatment and lack of community connections to name a few. In Jakarta she met Andrew and Gia, and learned how these clinicians successfully utilized digital technology to support clients with their therapy needs remotely, which inspired the idea of creating a speech therapy resource for families that is accessible anytime, affordable and based on the latest therapy practices. In that quest to help those families, Spokle was born.

Elisabeth holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering Science from the University of New South Wales, Australia and a Master of Business Administration from Manchester Business School, UK. She grew up in Indonesia and now resides in Australia.
